Where fitness and health spring from the physical world, “WELLNESS” is found in the metaphysical world. Peace, happiness and joy cannot be acquired through physical means because they do not originate in the physical world. We define wellness as the unconditional acceptance of your true self irregardless of the world around you. Irregardless of how that world judges you to be. There is a reoccurring theme with regards to how today’s industries approach how they serve their consumers. 9 times out of 10, the retailers will prioritize profit over truth. And modernization and technology has only exacerbated our disconnect from our truth. We have social media to help us connect but we are lonelier than ever. We have amusement parks and all manner of adult themed recreation yet depression is on the rise. There are individuals who seem to own half the world and yet they commit suicide. Everyone wants to be happy and have peace and yet we have neither. Somewhere in our behavioral pattern there is a disconnect between what we want and what we’ve achieved and what we need and what we have. No amount of material gain will ever fill the chasm left void by intangible needs.
