WHAT’S INSIDE
2 strips of uncured applewood bacon
1 ounce of diced yellow onion
1 can of organic no salt pinto beans
1/2 tbsp of ground cumin
– Cook bacon and onions in a sauce pan until the onions caramelized and then add in cumin seasoning. Last stir in your beans and let cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
1 medium sized tomato diced and strained.
6 ounces of roasted chicken breast diced or shredded.
2 tbsp of salsa stirred into the chicken.
Mexican style shredded cheese – two 1/4 of a cup portions, one in each burrito.
2 tbsp organic chunky guacamole – 1 tbsp in each burrito.
STEAMING THE TORTILLA
Add one cup of water to a deep pan large enough to accommodate a wrap sized tortilla. Next cover the top of the pan with heavy duty foil, poke small holes in the pattern shown and then bring to a boil until you can see the steam rising through the holes. Steam both sides of the tortilla, 15 seconds on each side, fill as shown and then wrap it up and enjoy.
